The Mission Statement

Crime to Christ exists to reduce crime through co-ordinated and cohesive action by the Christian community. Our vision is to rehabilitate offenders by helping them to follow Christ. Our purpose is to provide a pastoral social care package for offenders to address their practical needs regardless of their beliefs or lack of beliefs. Our goal is to provide a referral service to churches, helping them with advice, resources and training, to equip churches to care for ex-offenders and integrate them into the Christian community.

COMMITMENT TO EQUALITY

The Greek word used for nations is ethne meaning all "people groupings". As a service provider, we are strongly committed to reaching all people groupings, with no exceptions, and have a clear equality policy. Our commitment is to serve all people, whether or not they share our Christian faith, without discrimination and in a non-judgemental, compassionate way. Clients will not have any faith forced upon them, nor be forced to join any religious group, church etc.

Jesus said to His disciples, "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28 v 19).
